- Intel Core2 Duo processor T9900 (3.06GHz 1066MHz 6MBL2)
- Windows 7 Pro 64
- ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256MB with Intel Advanced Management Tech
- 8 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM
- 320 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm

Question:

The specs look good to me for running ArchiCAD 11, but I am not familiar with 'Mobility' graphics... Can anyone tell me if this is sufficient enough to run AC 11 and higher?

you've probably heard this already, but GS can only fully support FireGL or Quadro cards, so you are essentially on your own with any other graphics hardware.
you pretty much just have to try it and see, unless you can find someone else who has already done so.

I'm also looking at a new laptop with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470. Can you elaborate on the support for Quadro and FireGL cards? Is there a link or something so I can follow up with my own research? Thanks very much in advance!

I'd also like to know from the original poster - what did you decide to do?

This card has OpenGL support according to the ATI website so assuming it has sufficient video RAM it should work according to the ArchiCAD main site. I'm not sure why henrypootel suggested they only supported FireGL or Quadro cards, but if it's true Graphisoft should certainly update their website.
