As indicated by the numeric change (macOS 10 is being replaced by macOS 11), this is the biggest change to the system since Apple introduced macOS X around two decades ago.
Graphisoft maintains the compatibility of Archicad 23, 24, 25 and BIMcloud from macOS 11.3.
Archicad 22 and earlier versions will not be made compatible with macOS Big Sur.
Important Note
Customers with AMD video cards from macOS 10.15 Catalina may experience random crashes in different scenarios while working in Archicad. A fix for this issue has been made in macOS 11.3. Please update to at least macOS 11.3 to prevent this issue from happening.
Important Note
Starting with macOS 11 Big Sur, 3rd party Kernel Extensions won't function anymore: "...future OS releases will no longer load kernel extensions that use deprecated KPIs by default."To be able to continue using CodeMeter Hardware protection keys on macOS 11 and later, they need to be configured as HID (Human Interface Device) rather than KEXT (Kernel Extension) on an earlier macOS version.
Further details about the conversion can be found in this article.
