Hi, I would like to change the color of the door swing representation from black to blue, but I can't find the control to do that? Any advice appreciated.

You can change it globally (for all doors) in "Model View Options":
Document> Set Model View> Model View Options
(don't forget to store the new combination so it is applied to your saved Views).

Or use the "Opening" settings for the door.
(Check the "Override Model View Options" box).

That works, thank you. Is there a way I can also control the pens globally for the door leaf, jamb, reveal, etc.

No.
BUT, you can change the pens for multiple doors in one step by selecting them ALL before editing parameters.
