Door not showing correctly

My door is supposed to show like it is on the right in the dialog box, but it's stuck showing like the left on the plan. Ideas?

And this is even more strange. I set the door to be open 30 degrees in 3D view. It shows this in the settings, and you can see it in 3D. 2D is still set to 90 degrees.
Going back to 2D, it is copying the 3D settings. Is this a bug?

Is the 2d view Symbolic or Projected?

Projected with overhead

Perhaps some Model View Option
