Other than editing the GDL script directly, make a copy of the door (and frame) and convert it into a morph.
Delete all of the frame leaving just the door leaf.
Edit and re-save as the door leaf or use it as a basis to re-create from slabs if you find those easier to edit (rotate it in 3D so it lays flat to make it easier to re-create the slabs).
Morphs can be a bit fiddly - depending on what you need to do.

, it was that obvious, the morph solution. Yes, I create leafs with morphs, but never thought I can convert actual door objects. Thanks!
