GDL Object in Windows Vs. Mac

If a GDL Object is made in Windows, can it be used on a Mac without any conversion software?

The only issue I have seen is that the UI can appear slightly different on either system. So, if you are scripting for general use, it is a good idea to test the UI in both environments.
