Is there a way to script code to be able to hide parameters at all?
Not as in disappear completely but just put the little X next to the parameter?
Thanks.

The "X"-ing has a side-effect that the parameter is not visible in schedules, but hideparameter'ed shows there.

You can also use LOCK in the script so the user will see a greyed out parameter in the object but won't be able to adjust it.
Useful if you want to see the resulting parameter value in the object but not be able to change it.
