is it possible to have the hotspot always showing when placed in plan from an object. (Looks like hotspot when placed from the 'more' section of tools)
Make a cross or circle at the location of the point, well, and this of course with the possibility of shifting under the adjustment point.
Neither hot nor ordinary point will be displayed until an object is selected.
