Team,
Has anyone else experienced this issue? While working in AC28, after saving changes to a “personal library object” by adding a preview image in the Library Object window, I lose the ability to grab or select anything when I return to the floor plan. It’s as if the mouse stops responding. I have to close and reopen the file to continue working.
Any tips on how to fix this, or is this possibly a bug?

Team,
I’d like to share a workaround I discovered:
When the mouse seems to stop working on the floor plan, I select the Library Tool and open the settings window. After canceling the window, the mouse becomes active again.
I’m not sure if this issue only occurs with the Library Tool, but I noticed it while updating the Preview Windows in my custom library.

What operating system (version)/platform are you on? Typically these kinds of mouse things are platform specific.

Karl,
I think I may have found the reason for the issue, but I’ll continue to monitor it to confirm. It seems to be related to auto-saving, either in ArchiCAD or when syncing with Apple iCloud. I suspect it’s the second option, as it also happened once when I was pasting a note.
I’ll keep an eye on it and update you if I find anything conclusive.
