So I've had this issue crop up with 10 and now it's happening again in 12!!
Here's the story. We use Ben Cohen's 4D Library as a base and I have an open script version on my machine so I can edit these parts as we need.
Anyway as part of the security of the library I hide the scripts using the Advanced Update the ony problem is that it seems to destroy the UI.
I've been doing it for the last couple years and no hassles but today, just as 10 started doing, it has flared up again.
Has anyone seen this beofre and if so, any known fixes?
I haven't installed the latest hotfix yet so it cant be that but I am about to try it and see if it fixes it!

Hotfix make no difference.
