Wall End tool not working

I've used the wall end tool in the past, but its not working for me just now. I try to apply it to an existing wall, and though I might get the checkmark or the lamda symbol, when I click, AC just sort of stares at me dumbly. Perhaps I am projecting. When I COPY the wall, no other changes, it works fine. What gives? Anyone else have this? Or is it a flukey-bug?

This is a strange one.

Are there any walls on hidden layers that might be interfering? Does the troublesome wall work if you move it?

no, no hidden layers, and no, when I move it, it doesn't work...but copyng it did work. how totally bizarre.
I'm movin' on.
Trying to pitch the argument for AC 10 to my office. Is it less buggy? I bet that's for another forum/thread...

I am having the same issues in Archicad 12. Anyone find a solution to this?

With wall end tool active, after you get the check-mark with your cursor Shift +click.

No luck with your solution Erika. It ends up selecting the wall.

Try option/alt clicking on the wall first.
Otherwise practice, practice, practice

Option/alt gives me the pick up parameter. Thanks for the help. Must be a bug.
