layout - drawing title

howdy

i am looking to script a very simple Title object i can use on layouts

none of the built-in ones work how i want

the attached shows what i would like

the drawing number would auto generate from the drawing ID on the layout... the drawing name and scale also auto-generated

any help in sorting out the scripting of the object.. and then where to place it to make it available when placing drawings on a layout would be gratly appreciated

ps... forgot to mention.... we are using archiCAD v11

I have found it easier to copy an existing title (the one that is most similar to what you want). This way you know it already has the ability to generate the information like Drwg ID, Layout Name, etc. Just take out what you don't need, and add anything else that you do.
