Polyline drawing not appearing in 3D view

I have drawn a pattern using the polyline tool on the elevation views of my house's walls but it is not appearing in 3D view. What am I doing wrong and how do I make it appear? Any help would be appreciated.

The 2D tools (lines, fills, arcs, polylines, etc) are only 2D, and have no 3D component, likewise a line drawn in plan will not show in 3D. You can search this forum for methods of converting 2D items into 3D items.
