Tragic! I work freelance and bought my perpetual license about 2 and a half years ago. I still haven’t paid it off, and now it is worthless? I have just today learned that we are being railroaded by Graphisoft into an expensive subscription… for something we already bought. And was given 4 days to «take advantage» of their wonderful offer, which gives a 3 year price guarantee, but the whole year has to be paid on advance (which is not in my budget). But what happens after 3 years? How much more will it cost?
Can someone who has taken the plunge and switched from perpetual to subscription tell me what is so great about the cloud (studio for me) version? Is the AI worth it?
I’m considering keeping my perpetual license until it doesn’t work anymore. And then switching back to the light version of Revit 🙈. What’s everyone else doing?
