About Magic Wand

Pressing the space key does not work with the magic wand.

The computer I use is a Macbook pro.

This is a known bug. It'll work again when you restart Archicad, or sometimes you have to restart the whole computer. I've never figured out what is causing the spacebar to stop working—if it's another program or a glitch in Archicad.

We are experiencing this issue too and cannot pinpoint what causes it. I have it occasionally but one of our directors who also has a MacBook Pro has the issue more often.

I had this problem on my work Mac for months. The culprit was an app running "secure keyboard entry". Check any apps that aren't especially common, they might be hijacking your shortcuts.

What sort of update do you want?

If you are having this problem, check to see if you have another program running that is hijacking the spacebar shortcut.

It is not a problem with the Archicad program.
