Beam tool doesn't work

Hi! This might be a really easy, but we can't seem to figure it out.
The beam tool is not working, only allowed to to straight beams and not curved. Im not allowed to press on the geometric tool.

Please look at the photo attached.

The beam is set to "Inclined" mode, change it to "Horizontal" and you can then pick the other methods of creation.
