Drawing road and street.

Hello everybody.
I wondered that is there an easy way to draw road in the landscape ? i am working with a realy big area and trying to put some road and streets in the landscape, but dont know how to do it, also an easy way. Is there some tutorial?

Would be grateful if someone helps me and sorry for my english.
