Favorites retain classification

I have a project migrated from AC22, and a new AC23 template. My goal is to "upgrade" the migrated project with the new settings from the template file. So I imported the classifications, properties, IFC translators, etc from the new template to the migrated project. It worked.
But when I wanted to import the favorites from the template, the classifications of the saved elements got lost.
Any idea why?

I have found the update to the classification system with every version irritating so I just create my own classification and keep the name the same and edit as I need to for new classification elements introduced with each version.

I also find that copying each element (2 AC open at the same time) from a standard favourites file is the easiest way of managing all the attributes.
