Holy profile,Batman!
Right after digging into the reference manual

This method does not work for me for some reason. When I follow the previous steps exactly i the outside portion gets deleted and the interior remains unaltered. I have tried reversing the order, but i get the same message: region not found. Any other suggestions?

Look at the attached carefully:
1 the fill icon it dark meaning its selected,
2. the magic wand is dark > selected
3. and the outside shape has handles indicating it is selected.
ALL of the conditions must be met, before you select the inside line with the wand. If you do it at a corner the wand will turn black indicating you are on it. Click, nothing appear to have happened, then select and delete the inside fill, vola! Practice it in the regular floor plan window cause you can copy and paste into the profile window anyway.
