Is it possible to rotate struts?

I am trying to work on a canopy that will be a drive thru. I am working with exposed beams and am having trouble getting the objects to work in my favor. Am I doing this the most efficient way for ArchiCad? Currently what the image shows is me using strut 1 11 to make the suppport piece for the canopy. I can post more images if need be, but what I'm trying to get it to do is for the angle to be editable so that it can keep the same anchor point on the column but actually intersect the roof. Thanks for your help.

I think 'Block Inclined 11' would do what you want. It allows you to change the angle of both ends, and the overall angle.
