Missing Zone Parameter

The "Zone Identifier 2" tag in 8.1 is missing the listing parameter "Floor Base", which in 8.0 was tied to the variable "gs_list_base". We used this parameter on our first project so we could generate a room finish schedule automatically. This project was still in progress when we switched to 8.1 -- I guess I assumed that bugs would be fixed and it would be more stable, but I never thought they would actually REMOVE features. Suddenly, all of our floor base data disappeared! ( ) I added the parameter back into the GDL, but of course, by then it was too late -- the model had changed so much we couldn't go back and get the original zone data. So now we get to repopulate all the zones by hand.

What would possess GS to just delete a parameter? Maybe this should be a wishlist item. "I wish GS wouldn't delete parameters customers might be using!"
