If I deleted these, is there any way to get them back?
I have deleted them in a template i'm creating and would like to use them now, however if I drag them from the Project map (which is where they derive from) they turn into a regular folder icon.

You deleted a "Clone". You will need to re-Clone the Project Map Folder.

For interior elevation, it might be better to use the regular folders to organize your save views. By using a clone, all of your interior elevations will be located in one place and the list can get long and becomes hard to navigate.
Using the regular folder will make it easier in that you can make one per room a save the enlarge floor plan area in the same folder.
When you are ready to put the views on sheets you will find things easier.
My 2 cents.
