This might be a ridiculous question but is there a way I may cut a section of my building(the 3d model i build) to look at the reflected ceiling plan?
Any methods, add-ons, tricks, or otherwise?
Thanks,

Door headers are not traditionally shown on an RCP, at least at any firm that I ever worked at over the last 30 years. (What does a door header have to do with what's going on at the ceiling level?) Although to be precise, these headers often end up in RCPs because it's too much trouble to get rid of them, not because they are _supposed_ to be there. Many firms just use a floor plan as a base, and end up even having door swings on an RCP, as well.

I don`t how it is done in US but I agree with Tom because in Europe we always draw a door header. but this is no problem in Archicad it is simple, you change a model view and it works but when you have beams in RCP it is shown with solid lines not dashed ones as in floor plan and that is another problem to solve!!!!!

richard,
the few more years was a joke j in c !!
but in 85 i started drafting using intergraph sys and back then (i think i remember) we did show it and not cuz i wanted to show it, i was directed to !! then a went to another company to do drafting by hand and we did the same thing again, and then i came back to the computer age again and i have never shown it otherwise..BUT, i think it works either way

Okay, I checked my "bible" of drafting: The Professional Practice of Architectural Working Drawings, by Wakita & Linde.

No headers.
