Railing problem

Im having problem with railing "rail wired 10"
I cant draw it using "Diagonal input method", like click point A, drag it to point B.
It only allows me to define its lenght in "objetct properties window" and then to insert it.
Can I use "Diagonal input method", am I missing something?

Railing horizontal
Why do you ask?!

Some library parts can be inserted dynamically - using the diagonal or "stretch" insertion method. Some others though do not respond properly this way and must be inserted at a specific size. It's just the way they are coded.

I misunderstood. By "Diagonal input method", .. I assumed you ment .. place the railing by clicking at point A and stretching to point B (as in drawing a line). I see now, you wanted to stretch it after it was placed.
