In the community I work in we have operable shutters and if these shutters were true to life, they would be mounted too high and not be able to close. The higher ups are severely concerned about this because they are big proponents of visual correctness.
anyone else seen this? If so, what have you done to deal with it or fix it?

One option is to not use the shutter that is part of the window library part, and use the Shutter Rectangular 11 object, which can be sized and placed as desired.
