Stair. Edit flight length

russfairhurst

I have modelled a star that has 4 flights, with the first flight going under the 4th flight. I want to adjust the number of treads in the first flight but cannot add to the first flight without it jumping to the outside of the flight over. It's hard to explain, so I made a video.

Is this something I am doing wrong or just a limitation of the tool?

Operating system used: Windows

The projection of the flights in plan can not overlap.

You will have to split the stair in 2.

i.e model the bottom flight as a separate stair.
