Does anyone have a fix? Which file controls these settings? Maybe I could reinstall it without reinstalling the entire program.
Thanks,
Jason

jason
are you saying that they've been changed, or that they are wrong by default?
if the former, just do a 'new and reset': that will set the program back to it's default state. go File>New and choose "Use Default Settings" (or hold down 'alt' and go File>New and Reset)
if the latter, you'd better let your local GS representative know . . .
be sure to have your project north set to the correct angle, or the sun will be wrong anyway.

I opened several more files and noticed that all of the files in the Step by Step Tutorial folder have wrong information for the sun settings (by default).
I then opened up the sample files. The sun settings were all correct. They were also correct when using the default settings.
Aren't the sun settings set within the program? Why are they different depending what files I open? It's not like the city locations will be changing.
Thanks,
Jason

Hey Jason,
It's a project by project deal mate!
You may not want the city coordinates to change, but you may want the cities themselves to change. I delete all but the cities I need out of my template, so the user doesn't have to sort through them all. The best place I've found to get new coordinates is www.heavens-above.com
You can use Options>Attribute Manager to Overwrite/Append new cities from another project too. I recommend doing a New & Reset and saving that project as 'New&Reset.pln' in a safe place, for this very purpose.
Would still love to show you all this in person mate!
Good luck.
Cheers,
Link.
