gears?

Hi,

I just got the student license and was trying to create a gear. I started to realize I may have the wrong software. Is Archicad useful for making gears or mechanical type drawings. I'd like to work on prototyping my ideas.

Thanks,
Tre

Hi dwight,

I looked at the gear momentarily but was unable to figure out how to pan around it yet. AC crashed and I had to do homework so I haven't got to take a really good look yet.

Homework?

Are you sure you can stay up this late, or have you taken your laptop with you under the covers? I guess nobody needs a flashlight to read magazines anymore. Be sure to turn down the volume.

Do you mean that you downloaded the VR or that you placed the object in a model?

The standard VR controls allow circumnavigating the scene.

Viewing the model, you might drift the camera in flythru mode.
