macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Apple released macOS 10.13 High Sierra on September 25, 2017. With the latest updates ARCHICAD 20 and 21 should be compatible with macOS 10.13. There are still a few minor glitches with ARCHICAD and BIMcloud, as well as some High Sierra specific behaviours, but these shouldn't hinder production work. ARCHICAD compatibility by different versions

Supported versions

• ARCHICAD 23: Supported for all language versions.
• ARCHICAD 22: Supported for all language versions.
• ARCHICAD 22 Solo: Supported for all language versions.
• ARCHICAD 21: Supported for all language versions (with update 5021 or higher).
• ARCHICAD 21 Solo: Supported for all language versions (compatibility update coming soon).
• ARCHICAD 20: Supported for all language versions (with update 7001 or higher).

• ”ArchiCAD” is not optimized for your Mac warning
• ARCHICAD can’t find the Hardware License key
• Hotlink Manager’s File Select dialog fails to select files opened by different macOS
• ARCHICAD freezes for several seconds on macOS 10.13 High Sierra
• Print problems on macOS 10.13 High Sierra
• Apple File System (APFS) volumes cannot be shared over Apple Filing Protocol (AFP)

Fixed issues:

• Opening the Push menu from the Info Box may crash ARCHICAD
• Cosmetic glitches in ARCHICAD
• Contents of the 3D window freeze when switching between 3D Styles
• Contents of the 2D window freeze after turning the 2D Hardware Acceleration off
• ARCHICAD Touch Bar custom functions are not working on macOS 10.13.0
