Materials preview

does anyone know how can i preview materials in cube and not in sphere in the atrribute settings -> materials menu?

Hello Wendy
You can't change that sphere.
You could make some Cubes (object) or Walls in a project to experiment with them materials on them.

i guessed that but i thought i should give it a shot thanks a lot

And if you are going to start making a test room, be sure to arrange it so that the elements face different directions to allow for the changes of specular reflection, and also cast some shadow to see surface behavior in shadow.
