Final.. well almost final.. Dwight I know some dirt and Post effects would help but I have 4 fewer arms than others and only 24 hours per day to work. Forgot to rotate driveway pillars!

Mark,

If I may ask, what are the best sites with task-specific tutorials you have found for learning Cinema 4D?

Rakela,

That's an idea.. I won't mind really if it is considered to have good comparative qualities.. We've seen it in Cinema 4D (Maybe Mark can let it live to it's real C4D potential?), Lightworks.. why not Artlantis though I'm set in Cinema..

I'm all ears..

Wanna know something? There are not many, I wish there were more. For example the following tut's are very informative and inspiring. I try to at point out links to products that can be applied to a task, with an example of work. Screen movies like the ones below are the best way to convey a particular process.

My thanks to Jan Walter Schlief in Germany for this one. He sounds like a little guy, Just kidding, I hear that he has a hard time holding the miniscule mouse because his hand covers the entire pad.

Enjoy!

This animation shows the free Hairdepartment plugin and some possibilities to combine it together with Xfrog4 and Ditools.

And if your imagination can substitute a building for this book you are in better shape than me.

Still looking for a cute middle-sized commercial building with lots of glass. Help!! Free rendering for the right project!!!
Hey Dwight,
It just so happens I am working on a little 4-storey office building with lots of glass. Cute? I don't know, but it may be the right model for you and of course I could always use the advice.

It is on the corner of Any Street and Someother Avenue, I bet.

Heck. Any port in a storm.
This project is typical of what our users face and is a quick lesson in context insertion.

Will PM with the address to send.

Actually, it is on the corner of Front and Center. We are thinking of naming it Front & Center Center!

And a Frontandcenter building it is!

I was laughing at the address 1234 ... Any Street

With careful application of decorative materials, I can turn this building for accountants - imagine that as an exercise at design school - into a bordello for you.

That render is Lightworks in AC! Duh!.. Now I am impressed..!

Understatement to be sure. Now if Dwight had used better tiling textures it would have been just a touch better. Incredible intutition for AC/LW required to produce consistent results. Hats off to Dwight, looking forward to reading the book. (Which could and should be bundled with future AC purchases.)
