1: Users sometimes call a previously saved view. This recalls the view's sun setting and disregards the new settings. Save a new view with the current settings and see what happens.
2: You do not have my book? The Archicad 10 supplement identifies new Built-in sun settings that make using the Sun Object obsolete.

Dwight Thank you for the help
I was having the same problem as this threadhttp://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=56312&highlight=select+sun+object And it seems like they didn't find an answer to their problem. I did buy your book but it was on back order when I first posted. I got it in a bundle with Professional Rendering DVD. And the trouble happened while doing the tutorials. I have your book now and I saw that in your supplement there is a new SkyObject. So I downloaded the latest Library. The new SkyObject was not in there, but the problem seems to have been fixed. It might have had something to do with the Library but it looks like the same one I already had loaded.
