billboard trees or file size friendly 3d trees

I'm curious if archicad can make "billboard" trees -meaning they appear in 3D or elevations, but are actually just a 2D jpeg that is always oriented toward the camera?

Suggestions appreciated for any kind of file size friendly tree. Thanks.

Look for the "Tree Bitmap XX" trees in the standard AC libraries. They display correctly in renderings but will be rectangular blobs in elevations / 3D window. Use 2D trees in elevations.

Jill... You can try ArchiTREE...
I have good results at mid/long distance...
And its random... (I hate cloned trees )
