transparent fill in ArchiCAD 9

Is there anyway to give transparency to a solid fill, or translucent or gradient in version 9 to be used in elevation drawings or floor plans?

any other suggestions?

Don't think so. YOu wuold have to use a raster fill of some kind, with the background fill set to the transparent color in your pen set.
