Hi!
Let's say you design a large warehouse with a rectangular floor plan of 120m x 48m. A nice grid for this would be 12m x 12m (or 6m x 6m). The layout of the whole plan would fit nicely onto an A1 sheet, if scaled 1:200. Inside this warehouse you need an area of 60m x 12m for offices, wardrobes, and different social functions, maybe on a mezzanine. The plan view for this would fit nicely onto an A1 sheet, if scaled 1:100. Same grid. And then the layout for the kitchen facilities needs to be 1:50. Fits beautifully on an A3 layout, say...
On the 1:100 office layout, most of the grid markers are outside the sheet, and not visible. On the kitchen layout, you only see the cross hairs of grid B/4-5, but no grid markers at all.
Would it be possible to make the grid markers - of gridlines visible on a zoomed view placed on a layout - smart enough to always squeeze their heads just inside the defined frame? Even with funky reshaped frames? (Please tell me there is a check box I haven't seen... Otherwise: Yes, I know a half decent workaround. Also, this would be nice to have, not life depending).
