Would it be possible to improve the system for creating site plans, which remains incomplete to this day? Several methods coexist, but none are fully satisfactory.
Method 01: Work on the floor plan and show the roofs. Advantages: Roofs and terrain can be dimensioned. Disadvantages: It is complicated to show roof accessories (such as gutters) and all protruding building elements (balconies, canopies, etc.).
Method 02: Work on the 3D document. Advantage: Everything that needs to be visible is there. Disadvantage: It is difficult to correctly dimension (in terms of elevation) the project.
Method 03: Combine both solutions using a working sheet. Advantage: Aesthetic plans and dynamic information. Disadvantage: The plan does not follow modifications and requires more steps.
Since you also use Revit, wouldn’t it be possible to create a dedicated view system inspired by Revit—a kind of dedicated view?
