Keynotes | Search Feature

Keynotes should be searchable from the keynotes Palette.  Not referring to searching the keynotes palette for keynotes that can be place or searching the plan for a keynote and then seeing it highlighted in the palette.  It's very frustrating that I can't find where I placed, or if, I placed a keynote on a drawing(s).  For example, if I'm creating a lighting plan and have dozens of fixture types, It is difficult to see if I placed a certain type since I can't see if it has been placed already (without visually scouring the plans and hoping I didn't miss it).

Feature:

Allow for searching for a placed keynote.  Ideally from the keynotes Palette itself.

I agree this would be a convenient feature.

In the meantime, you can search all drawings using the Edit > Search and Replace Text command. Adjust your filters accordingly. Type the keynote content you're looking for in the "contains" field, and leave the "Replace all with" field blank.

Start the search.

It will give you a list of all instances of that text (whether keynote autotext or plain text). You can select an instance and then use the magnifying glass icon at the bottom center to navigate to that location.

Note that this will only help you find instances of the keynote. You can't use Search and Replace Text to replace the keynote reference. You would have to do that manually in each location.
