It would be great if there could be an on-screen view option that could show the starting point of lines, polylines, arcs, splines etc to make it easier to apply arrowheads after the line is placed.
That already exists for walls. I will have to look up how. I don’t know it by heart.
Yes, you can do it for walls, there is an on screen view option for showing the active edge and direction of walls but not for lines.
