Scheduling Openings (Doors & Windows) to the Correct Home StoryProblem Description
When creating Door and Window Interactive Schedules, the "Home Story Name" (or "Home Story") parameter reports an incorrect value compared to where the elements actually belong.
This issue occurs in a split-level / staggered-floor project consisting of two building sections where one section is vertically offset from the other. The Story Elevation is defined at the finished floor level of the lower section, while the floor levels of the higher section are offset by +800 mm.
Automatic Story Assignment: Doors and windows are assigned to the story where the majority (> 50%) of the element's height is located. Consequently, if more than half of the opening falls below the Floor Plan Cut Plane / Story level, the element is scheduled under the story below rather than the intended story.
Discrepancy in UI vs. Schedule: When selecting the opening in 2D/3D (or checking the Info Box / Settings dialog), the position is tied to its parent/host element (Wall), but in the Interactive Schedule, it lists a different story.
Current Workaround & Wish
My Workaround: I currently resolved this by creating an Expression-Defined Property (Property Manager) that calculates the vertical offset of the opening and overrides/evaluates the correct story location.
Wish / Request: Would it be possible to add an option or logic in Archicad so that door/window scheduling can strictly inherit the Home Story of the Host Wall (or allow users to choose between "Host Wall's Home Story" and "Calculated Geometric Story"), rather than being automatically driven by geometric cut planes and elevation? This would prevent openings in split-level designs from being listed on the wrong story.
Note
I have attached graphical screenshots from the project to illustrate the issue and the current behavior.

Řešení a prosba
