The ability to view multiple archicad views next to eachother.

To effectively compare concepts on worksheets or layout views with the actual model in plan view, section/elevation, and 3D perspective, I often need to switch between different views.
However, when I want to compare the details I'm drawing with the model, constantly switching views becomes inefficient. I would like the ability to have two or more views active or visible simultaneously.
I’m aware that “Trace Reference” is available, but it tends to be slow and its position can be obscured by the current model or drawing I’m working in.

Just minimise or undock the view window and you can have as many on screen as you can fit.

Even on multiple monitors, which is easier on a Mac than a Windows machine.

Is this what you are wanting?

Or are you wanting to overlay them - only Trace Reference can do that.

Oops.... this is indeed what i meant. I knew i was able to do this in a past archicad version, but it thought it was something you did by right clicking on the viewtab. I did not see the tiny window options on the upper right. There also used to be a tile windows option but this seems to be removed. But indeed, i meant the undocking part specifically, i was probably not able to find the function because i did not know what it was called. Thanks!

I have closed this wish.

The tiling of windows was an option I remember seeing, but I think that was before we had the TAB bar.

It doesn't seem to be a command anymore, at least I can;'t see it in the Work Environment.
