display coordinates in different units without adjusting your project settings

The Measurepoint Tool in the Library is used to indicate coordinates in your project.
The unit of the coordinates is displayed in the unit as set in your "Working Units".
If you use this to display RD coordinates in your model, it is common to display them in meters.
The first thought is to adjust units via Project Preferences; however, this has no effect on this specific object.

That leaves the working units. However, it is not desirable to adjust this in your working units, as your entire project would then be displayed in meters.

Is it possible to include a selector switch in this specific object allowing you to choose the unit in which the coordinate is displayed (including the option to display the unit or not)?

Object is also known as 'Coordinate Dimensions'.

If anything, I think it should be displayed with the current dimension units, not working units.

But yes I agree, it should have its own controls where you can choose the units displayed.

That would be like a three line addition to the objects script? Something an intern in the right department can flip over a coffee.
