was genuinely excited when I heard that Archicad was getting official MCP support. The idea of using AI to interact with and modify a BIM model sounded incredibly promising.
But after trying it, I'm honestly extremely disappointed.
You can't even create a wall.
Is anyone else disappointed with the current implementation? And has anyone had success using Tapir MCP instead? - which is so SAD by the way. GH literally can not do 1 thing right.

I'm mad...
I'm mad at archicad for being so expensive and yet so limited.
I bought a perpetual licence for Archicad 29, it cos me 12k€ (DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LESS ARCHITECTS ACTUALLY MAKE??) and I can't even access BETA versions of tools in develepoment.
I mean, the point of beta versions is to allow people to use it so it gets better.
Not only the software itself is expensive but you have to make sure you paid for the right version and assistance you don't even need, that takes days to resolve urgent problems.
Every year a new version and new tools most people dont need when old functions that could have been improved are still left untouched.
You guys are really missing something and you're goinng to end up with open-source softwares more efficient than Archicad and lose everything because you never listen to user, you're only interrested in their money.
I spent thousands and thousands of euros in training, licences, updates... That's honnestly depressing, i feel actually stuck.
Never mind, we'll find our own ai solutions, they already exiist anyway, and they're actually ahead of you.
If anyone at Archicad wants to talk I am available, but I really think you need to change your attitude because AI is not going your way.
