Create objects from Python

Hello all,
am I missing something or is it still impossible to create building elements from Python?
For example create zones out of an excel sheet.
Hope I am wrong

It is impossible to create any element or object in Archicad from a Python 24 script -- this capability was removed from the experimental version in 23.

Graphisoft will not, at present, commit to when or if this capability will be added back.

Python, at present, sounds like just marketing hype -- no practical usage?
