Hello there,
We were hoping to use BIMx as part of our Passive House certification documentation, and we needed to attach some PDFs that were created from a different program to the BIMx export.
I created sheets in ArchiCAD and then placed the PDFs on those sheets, and included all of this in the BIMx export. Everything gets exported and we can see the sheets in the model transfer site, but for some reason some gradients are not showing up from those original PDFs. And it isn't all of them - about half of those sheets have this issue where the gradient does not show up. See attached. Is there a solution to this? Should we import those PDFs into ArchiCAD as images instead of PDFs?
Thank you!

Hi, do you experience the same when exporting those layouts to PDF or image instead of BIMx?

Hi Roland,
Thank you for the reply. Yes, I am seeing the same problem if I were make a PDF of this page from ArchiCAD. I placed these PDFs in the set using the 'Place External Drawing' command - what other way is there to attach a PDF?
I also tried converting the PDFs into images and then placing those, but the problem persisted.
Is there a size limit in what can be sent to that e-mail? This file is roughly 800MB. The vast majority of that was not in the BIMx export.
The workaround I found so far was the create an image fill with the gradient and superimpose that on every affected drawing. It is time consuming, but it works.
Thank you again and let me know what you think.
