hi there, how can i make a 'stl' 3d file in archi cad? and when i save a 3d in archi cad as 'dwg', when i open it in dwg is not a 3d drawing any more! can u please tell me what can i do?? Thanks

I think to make an STL file you'll need to save out to other software - maybe save as 3DS or DWG. I know Solidworks can import both of those and save out as STL. Probably Inventor can as well. And maybe even Autocad...

Kind of agree to that...

However, I found out that the DWG viewer eDrawings from Solidworks also Saves As .stl
This program is free and cross-platform (there is a MacOSX version too)
Download from http://www.solidworks.com/pages/products/edrawings/eDrawings.html
I have not tested it.
