Windows - Wall Closure & Dimensioning Issue - Help please

Dear Archi-Friends,

I'm struggling with my BIM model and have to urgently issue finishes plan of this house I'm working on. 
Please help! 

I managed to achieve a wall closure of my window that's exactly what I wanted to be, but there's one problem - I can't dimension the core wall in plan as there's no SNAP on it. (see attached)

Please suggest the best work-around or even better, a solution.
