3DS INTO GDL

I HAVE DOWNLOADED SOME 3DS OBJECTS....TO USE IT IN ARCHICAD ...BUT IT TAKES LONG TIME CONVERTING TO GDL......AND SOME TIME IT GIVES ERROR MESSAGE ..ANY SOLUTION PLEASE

I have given up using 3DS. The resulting objects are too big, and slow AC down, also as you say errors keep popping in. Just not worth the trouble.

Open in Sketchup. Fix the model and then import into Archicad.
Much better results.
