AC 10 - ArchiTerra 2.06 Works, ArchiTerra 3.07 Crashes!

Hello any AT user's, It is almost 11 PM (23:00) in Rome at this time so most of the Cigraph staff are hopefully getting a good nights sleep.

I have a project migrated from AC9 into AC10 and I had previously used ArchiTerra (AT) 2.06 to create a mesh from a surveyors DXF file. The mesh was very slow in 3D (See discussion here ) and was having memory issues.

With the new purchase of AT 3 I decided to delete the mesh and the DXF imported data from the project and start over with AT 3.

When importing DXF data with AT 3.07, ArchiCAD 10 crashes. I have tried to import the DXF data into a fresh Template (not a NEW and Reset) and it still Crashes using AT 3.07. If I open a new template file in AC10 and import the DXF data using AT 2.06, it works fine.

I want to use AT 3. Do I have to remove AT 2.06 from the AC10 Add-Ons folder?

Just started from a New & Reset File. Importing DXF data using AT3.07 crashes AC10.

I am going to try a different DXF file now.

Removed the ArchiTerra 2 Folder from the Graphisoft>AC10>Add-Ons Folder.

Even with only the AT 3 Add-on the DXF import causes a Crash.

Has anyone had success with DXF import and AT 3 with AC10?

Did you write Fabrizio directly when you first had a problem?

Reloaded the AT 2.06 into the AC10 Add-Ons Folder. The DXF files and the TXT file all import just fine.

Side Question for working with AT 2 & AT 3 both in the Add-Ons folder -

If the ArchiTerra.LIB library folder from AT 3 is used the Textures report as missing since AT 3 has no Textures folder. Also there seem to be many other objects in the AT 2 LIB folder that are not in the AT 3 LIB folder. Should I just load both? Loading both LIB seems to produce no duplicates.

Honestly, I think AT 3 is a much improved product and do not see using AT 2 or even having it in my Add-Ons.

Yes I wrote him. I also had sent him an e-mail about the Group Icon getting cropped in the DXF import Box. Not a big deal, but do others see this?

Does any one that owns AT want to try and import the DXF and see if they have a crash.

Here are a few DXF files and a TXT file. They are all different sites.

I've made a test with your files, AC10 e ATerra 3: ArchiCAD don't crash
I attach a screenshot with tin.dxf

Thanks Francesco.

Fabrizio Stated that the files imported fine for him as well. He is running ArchiCAD 10.0.0 R1 (2582 / 1183) both the International, the Italian and the German version.

I am using 1183 USA Full version. Anyone able to test the USA version.
