Add Door "Description-item" to Interactive Door Schedule??

Is it possible to add a "Description" item from an AC Door (D1 23) to a door schedule,
when it doesn't exist in the "Fields" list?

For example:
I want to add "operation type" to my schedule
(I realize I have to manually add the type in the door settings description).

Is a "custom" field the only way?

Sure, you can add any library part parameter to a schedule.
Just click on the button next to add fields.
Then choose 'Add library Part Parameters.
Search for the library part and then the parameter you want.
