Dear users,

as promised you............,
Fabrizio,
Could we have some hotspots on corners and or sides of the Stringers (skirts), so we can grab them and locate them next to a wall accurately?
Thanks,
Joseph

Fabrizio,
Last night and this morning I tried the ArchiStair update button. I recieve a written message (see below) but it does not seem to update ArchiStair. I'll update it manually but it would be fun to use the automatic button from within the software.

BTW ArchiStair is great! It is giving me what I want from a stair tool.

Thank you,
John

YOU ARE GREAT,
Now I can move on to ArchiTerra knowing if I slip on a sloppy or sloped mesh you will catch me!
Thanks,
Joseph

Thanks to you oreopoulos (BTW is oreopoulos your first name?)!
No.. First name Kostas { from kostantinos}
Fabrizio:

The update installed fine and works great. Only very minor problem - the drop-down menu still reads ArchiStair 1.05. How do I get the menu to update, too? Thanks.

Strange: you should read 1.07!
Unfortunately, some time developers are strange people: they forget to do what is obvious for anybody else.
Maybe my developer forgot to update this string (but under my AC81 it is showed correct)...

Just to be sure: did you delete the previous version?
Otherwise ArchiCAD could load this one and not the new one.

A little trick:
please, use the Language command from the ArchiStair menu.
When the Language dialog window appears, hold down the shift key and click over the "blue dressed man" on the right: under the language buttons should appears a strings showing some infos about the add-on.
You should read here:
"Version: Cigraph Factory 1.07 (03/03/2005)"

If you read something else, this means you (I mean your ArchiCAD) are not loading the latest version.

Please let me know...

Fabrizio:

The blue dressed man is giving me the correct version (1.07) but the menu still reads 1.05. I actually did not technically delete the previous version first, but just copied the new files over the older ones. I do not know where any older versions of any of the files might be hiding.

If it offers you any clues to the mystery, the same thing happened at the last update of ArchiForma & ArchiTerra. They both updated correctly but the older version numbers continued to be displayed on the menus. Since they worked fine, I didn't worry about it. Then I happened to do a "repair" type of ArchiCAD reinstallation, and the menus then got correctly updated with the current version numbers.

In order to get it you can go to www.cigraph-store.com or, if you are ArchiCAD 9 users (the ArchiCAD 8.x version of ArchiStair doesn’t provide you with this feature) you can also use the update command from the ArchiStair menu.
In the first case (using www.cigraph-store.com) you will get the whole ArchiStair folder (containing both the add-on and the library and the other stuffs), in the second case (using the ArchiStair update command) you will get only the add-on.
....
I have been using Method 1, and extracting this to the AC Add-on Folder, then deleting the old folder (ie. ArchiStair 1.05).

My ArchiStair actually shows as ArchiStair 1.01 (First time that it was installed as a Menu in the Work Environment)

As screen shot shows the WE Menu is using the "Old" Titles in the menu.

Mmmm...

It could be a trouble coming from the AC9 Working Environment.
Do you see the ArchiStair menu in the Extra menu or somewhere else?
Try to change to other Profile (I mean in the Working Environment) to see if something change or, as last chance, delete this menu from the Working Environment then recreate it.

let me know,
